The Earning pattern is as follows:
For Each view of the video uploaded by you get Rs. 0.10 and
For each video you video (Not uploaded by you), you get Rs. 0.05
also there is no money to view your own videos.
The minimum payout amount is Rs. 300 and the payout is on every 15th date of every month, also the payout is done through direct Bank Transfer, one thing that has to be kept in mind, that only, those who give an INDIAN Address, will be paid the earned amount.
So even if you are in some other country, but if you have a valid INDIAN ADDRESS, you can still get paid by INDYAROCKS....
Apart from this, one more interesting thing is, you can send SMS, from anywhere in the world to any mobile in INDIA, without any charge, now the question comes of the Reliability and the speed by which the recipient receives the message, well for that, I would rate INDYAROCKS as 5 out of 5, because all the time, so far, I have seen, the messages are delivered instantly.
You even have option of uploading unlimited photos, instead of Scrapbook as in Orkut, you get Grafitti Wall in INDYAROCKS, message sending, making new friends whole across the world..
In short, this is a complete community, which unlike other social communities, doesn't only lets you keep in touch and have fun, but also lets you earn some money, while watching videos.
Well, one more good thing is, you can directly talk with the co founder of INDYAROCKS, his name is KALYAN, and he is mostly available online to help and support the members of INDYAROCKS, you can even send him a FRIENDS REQUEST and to the Surprise he has almost 6200 friends in his FRIENDS LIST and I am one of them (As on 24th Jun '08).
Well, drawbacks, I came across, so far is, if your uploaded video or photo, or a blog written by you is reported Abuse, repeatedly, your account might get disabled, now this means if a group of 100 people, meet online and decide to disable someone's account, just for some revenge or envy, might be because that person is earning more in less time or something like that, they can easily do that, just by reporting your uploaded content ABUSE again and again.
In regards to this, I had a word with the co-founder KALYAN, of INDYAROCKS, and all he answered is, they will look into this issue..
